Specially Formulated and Designed R&D for Cleansing Powder Materials

To achieve this, we must start by identifying and addressing users’ pain points, driving comprehensive upgrades and innovations—both in materials and manufacturing processes. With this goal in mind, Jiangmen Mengxi has developed a new formula for the Musse Face Cleansing Puff, focusing on enhancing performance in areas such as tensile strength, safety, and overall user experience, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of our customers.
In terms of mechanical performance, we use cosmetic-grade raw materials to produce our products, upgrading the formulation of the hydrophilic polyurethane facial cleansing puff. This ensures that the fibers are not only exceptionally fine and soft but also safe—ranked seventh for being completely non-irritating—while simultaneously boosting tear resistance by up to 1.5 times compared to conventional facial puffs.
In terms of compatibility, we’ve optimized the fiber’s pore structure and density to ensure it works well with a variety of aqueous systems, allowing it to more effectively absorb oils, dirt, and aged keratin from the skin’s surface, thereby enhancing its cleansing power.
In terms of durability, we’ve improved both the formulation and manufacturing process to enhance its toughness, ensuring it won’t crack, flake, or deform after just a few uses—unlike ordinary wash pads, which typically show these issues much sooner. Additionally, this product can withstand 1.5 times more usage cycles than standard wash pads.
After continuous formula adjustments and rigorous testing, we’ve finally upgraded and developed the "Xixia Yan Kai Cleansing Puff" formula. Professional performance tests have shown that it outperforms conventional face-cleansing puffs on the market in terms of softness, friction resistance, expansion rate, tensile strength, and pore distribution—meeting consumers' needs even more effectively. This breakthrough addresses the pain points consumers often encounter during daily use, paving the way for a high-quality transformation in the cleansing puff market.

New Upgrade in the R&D of GELEES Materials

In recent years, with the rapid growth of the makeup market and the surge of beauty bloggers gaining popularity, the beauty tool market as an auxiliary tool has become a significant "big cake" that cannot be ignored. However, alongside the growth of the beauty tool industry, issues such as lack of industry standards, inconsistent product quality, and product homogenization have gradually emerged, leading to sharply increased competition pressure within the industry. Therefore, upgrading raw materials and developing new processes have become new paths for the development of the beauty tool industry.

"Can it be made softer and finer?" "Can it be made oil-proof and water-proof?"... From our perspective, these contradictory customer demands are the challenges we need to overcome. The launch of PUPU cotton candy puff

Most puff designs on the market generally rely on ribbons for fixation. However, due to differences in craftsmanship and adhesive materials, the connection points between the puff and the ribbon often suffer from issues such as structural looseness, easy tearing and breaking, and uneven fiber density. To address this, our R&D team has breakthroughly proposed a "ribbon-free structural revolution," removing the original ribbon and integrating it with the leather surface to create a "glove style." This bold idea was immediately recognized by customers. After multiple improvements and adjustments, through technical enhancements, we refined the original formula, specially tailoring it for leather surfaces. Combined with a special high-density fiber core layer and antibacterial skin-friendly fabric, and utilizing special processing technology, we achieved self-molding without auxiliary fixtures.

Improvements in the craftsmanship of air cushion puffs

Addressing the common issues of edge curling and warping found in commercially available air cushion puffs, our company conducted a thorough quality traceability analysis. We discovered that these problems are primarily caused by inherent stress residues stemming from flawed traditional mold designs. This issue directly affects the product’s sealing performance and edge smoothness, leading to defects such as bursting, edge curling, and warping—ultimately resulting in higher defect rates, reduced production efficiency, and increased material waste costs. To tackle this challenge, our engineering and R&D team embarked on an in-depth investigation, engaging in extensive discussions and brainstorming sessions. By upgrading equipment, optimizing production processes, exploring alternative materials better suited for the application, and refining conventional manufacturing techniques, we’ve successfully mitigated the frequent edge curling and warping issues in standard air cushion puffs. As a result, we’ve significantly lowered the defect rate, stabilizing it below 3% per batch.

A truly dual-use material for both wet and dry conditions (YUNX)

On every beauty lover's dressing table, there is always a variety of puffs for different purposes, such as those used for applying foundation liquid, cushion, powder cake, loose powder, etc., each suited to corresponding makeup products, or puffs made of different materials for dry or wet use. This is because different materials of makeup products—liquid, cream, powder—require different types of puffs to maximize their advantages. Although most puffs are labeled as "dry and wet dual-use," this is only literal and does not truly achieve the meaningful "dry and wet dual-use."

The traditional meaning of "dry and wet dual-use" refers to a puff that can be used directly dry or wetted with water. While this dual-use method meets the needs of most beauty lovers, it does not fundamentally optimize the efficiency of puff usage to suit most makeup products. Therefore, we prioritized the development of a truly "dry and wet dual-use" puff, aiming to create a puff that meets both dry and wet application needs and suits makeup products used dry or wet. After more than a year of effort by our R&D team, we successfully developed a coarse-pore structured polyurethane sponge—YUNX—that does not discriminate against foundation types, skin textures, or application techniques. It is soft and skin-friendly, resistant to deformation, and highly hydrophilic. Its large pore structure meets the needs of various base makeup products, and the coarse pore design easily handles cake and powder makeup products. Combined with different makeup products and application methods, it can create matte, dewy, translucent, and flawless makeup effects. It is a truly "dry and wet dual-use" puff.
